This Privacy Policy explains how North East Bexar County Democrats (“NEBCD”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information of its members, prospective members, subscribers, and visitors to its website at https//:www.nebcd.org. 

 

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

NEBCD collects information directly from the users, through online registration or subscription, email inquiries and sign-up sheets at various events or the campaign headquarters. NEBCD emails precinct chairs and coordinators who are included on a publicly available list on the website of the Bexar County Democratic Party (https//:www.bexardemocrat.org). 

 

  • Information collected directly from you: We may collect personal information directly from you, for example, through a web form that you fill out, an online or in-person registration, a survey, or an email inquiry to our website. Personal information we collect directly from you may include first and last name, address, email address, zip code, voting precinct and phone number. 

  • Information collected from your device: Our website and texts may use tracking technologies such as cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other similar technologies to automatically collect certain information from your device, for example, your IP address, referring website address, and other information about how you interact with our website or SMS.

 

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use information collected directly from you to provide you with notices of NEBCD meetings and special events, notices from other organizations that may be of broad interest to Bexar County Democrats, and news or alerts that may be of broad interest to Bexar County Democrats. We may also use this information to market NEBCD to you, including by email and text message, subject to your consent. 

 

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • NEBCD does not share your information with any other organization, individual or entity.

  • We use Constant Contact for our email marketing and text message communications.   • We use ActBlue as our payment processor. While you may link to ActBlue from the NEBCD website, texts, or Constant Contact notices, NEBCD your transaction is directly with ActBlue. NEBCD at no time can see the information when you enter it into ActBlue. ActBlue will notify NEBCD that ActBlue has received a donation through ActBlue and provides NEBCD with payment and the name of the payee. ActBlue uses and processes your payment information in accordance with its privacy policy available at https://secure.actblue.com/privacy.

  • We may also share your personal information if necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
